Again,I ask the question....
Will a 44 yoke fit on a 35,or fit spline wise in a pinch?

I don't think you are going to find a lot of d35 knowledge here other than how to unbolt it and throw it away.

I really doubt it, but only one way to find out pull it and check but I am pretty sure the 44 has a bigger input shaft...

I think the 44 splines are bigger. Can't remember off-hand, been to long since I took a 35 off.

What are you trying to do?

I was at spyder lake in my buddys sami and this guy was sitting on a rock holding his broken 35 yoke in his hands.Waiting for someone to weld it.I Carry a spare 44 yoke for my Comanche.Just wondering if I could help out some other poor soul with a 35 in the future.

Yokes on 35's aren't a good trail fix. They get their preload from a crush sleeve. Improper installation of a new yoke can cause seal failure and worse it can ruin your gears. Another good reason to hate the 35.
