We'll we just finished building and installing our new bracket into the Jeep.

We think it turned out pretty good.

Looks good! Why the long front spring hangers? Seems like some stubby ones would help on the approach angle. Fullwidth is the way to go!:D

We went with the longer hangers to make up for the dropped shackles in the rear. Wanted to make the springs as level as possible.

Thanks guys

That looks great - pretty original... is it completely welded on?

Actually we made it so that it was a 100% bolt on kit

There is a few spots in which a weld could re-enforce it, but we wanted to make it as easy as possible in case anybody wants a set.

Oh and I forgot the link. Check out our site we have almost 20 pics of the bracket from different angles.

The Jeep ran good on the test run (muskeg running 3 days) only problem was, I seem to have found a weak link in the tranny or t-case.

Damn......there always has to be 1 week spot doesn't there.

When you say fullsize what do you mean? Whats the WMS to WMS since there are many different fullsize axles out there. Really nice Jeep though.

Iwould want to gussit those spring mounts, those things are gonna take a beating hangoing down like that and have nothing to keep them from bending to the side. I little triangular piece going from the crossmemeber to the inner ear of each srping mount would make a big differance, then box in between each ear as much as possible without interfearing with the spring. Looks like great work but might as well go all out on it.
