Yepper....

No Spool for Cruisers, but a 12 bolt spool can be made to work in a FF.

i got a full floater

to my knowledge a spool is available

i run ARB air operated spools, when engaged, it can be technically classed as a spool anyways

From what I hear, running anything but an open or part-time locker either breaks the axle-to-hub studs or loosens them over time.

No links that I know of, I personally watched "W" last year at CM install one into a c clip cruiser axle, it was for a 12 bolt GM, according to W you have to polish the part that goes into the carrier, what would be the polished portion on the OEM side gears, once you get them to fit it's a slide in, Randy's R&P has them for around $100.

Texican,

Was that a full spool or a mini that was installed? Are you talking the bolt flange on the full spool? Might be something I might try. Let me know. Thanks

for people that do not maintain there gear this canbe a problem

i for one have never had that problem, and i run 42" tyres and compete in my landcruiser, sure i break a lot of stuff, but that is one thing i do not break, yet everyone tells me that i would  i think hmm, lack of maintenance or stoner of some description. :flipoff2:

It has not been my experience either, I'm just stating what some people had said or written. See this thread (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16449&highlight=studs+FF). I also run cable lockers on a rear FF and I've been paying attention to the studs. No loosening or breakage so far for me. But I also own a FF rear cruiser axle whose previous owner had run a LockRight in it. Five of 6 of the studs and both dowel pins were sheared off on the right side. I've given up trying to remove them and bought new wheel hubs.
