Who runs them? What kind of offroad performance do they offer? How do they ride of the road? How loud are they? I'm thinking of going back to my stock F250 rims and running 305/85 16 radials, but I do about 100-150km of driving per day.

Thanks

Buckshots are a great all purpose tire. I've ran quite a few sets, but they are just too expensive, and radial swampers are much better. Buckshots have weak sidewalls.

There actually 2 different buckshots. Those made in the USA, and those made in iran or some shiat. The foriegn ones are complete shit. They look the same, but are made of a different rubber compound and are really hard. Might as well buy BFG's instead of those.

They will wear done fast on a heavy truck driving on the street. Not bad on a light vehicle. Very loud and awesome in the mud.

Buy a set of 9.00R16 XZL Michelins. You can see the tread design on the Michelin site or Safari Gard. There's a guy in your area that can get them. They are really 255/100R16s; 10.3" wide and 36.4" tall on 6.5" rims. LR D, 3750 lb @ 65 psi, 4630 @ 80 psi. They bag out well at 10-20 psi depending on vehicle weight.
