Well im stuck trying to make a decision.

When I set the engine where I would like to mount it in the frame, it only leaves me about 5 inches for a drive shaft to the t case. I can move the engine foward, but not a significant amount to really help. Im running cj's in the rear, and moved the back axle back quite a bit. Would moving my t case back to allow for a 2 u-joint shaft instead of this 1 joint + flange that ive made work better. Im going to be 65 to 70 percent onroad, and the vibes from this t cast shaft that I might get if i dont get all these mounts exactly perfect have me sweating it a bit.

What is the least amount I can have between 2 u joints on a shaft be that still allow it to operate properly. This is for the tcase to tranny, so their will be minimal flexing, if any. It only needs to correct for a small amount of misalignment from the tranny to the t case. I just dont know that I trust my ability to get the one joint perfectly aligned to not have any vibrations.

I need to do more measuring. I didnt know you could go that short between joints. Im not familiar with your zuk. what engine are you running?

In my swap, i used a jack shaft that was 6" long, it has a flange on one end and a yolk on the other end and 2 ujoints. works good without any vibratons. If you want i can take a picture of it, i don't have one now. I basically just used a spicer h block (don't know how else to describe it, i know it is a spicer part though).

Yes if you can take a pic of it,

I appreciate the help. Im going to try to get this aligned up, and If i get it right there will be no vibes. I just dont know how much room for misalignment I have.

Thanks for the ideas, and if anyone else has any, I appreciate the help.
