: Kelly Cifford is in the finals.......!!!!!
Keith 11-18-2001, 11:31 AM Can't tell ya what number of the ten selected she was, but she is in. Everyone has an equal chance now. She should do really good if her spotter doesn't screw her up! :flipoff2:
Grady/ian are also running on Sunday, good luck to both of them!
SeaBass44 11-18-2001, 11:39 AM right on:cool:
Imkunfused 11-18-2001, 07:12 PM She didnt get it, big mix up saturday night. She deserved it tho... Tonight after the compitition, they gave her a spot in the vegas run next year for the finals
Lance 11-18-2001, 07:18 PM Unfortunately she didn't make it. After a good ole fashioned Florida recount :D she ended up placing 11th place, 2 points shy of making the top ten. She was fully getting it though, and didn't break anything. The 760x ujoints get our stamp of approval. ;)
Imkunfused 11-18-2001, 07:30 PM Hey lance you guys didnt show for the end near the lodge, kelly got qualified for the championship

Hey lance - details on the front? Tire size, alloy shafts for the D44? I've got an 8 lug 44 and was thinking of running 39.5's with warn's alloys and the 760x's. Thanks man!

I ran a set of CTM 300m U joints, on my rig.
With the loss of my power steering, all I really had left was a working throttle pedal, and 300 hp. I hammered on those joints, almost hoping they would let go, (and finaly put me out of the misery of trying to steer my rig through the tight coiurses without ps). I could not break them, I even stuffed the front tires in a hole on a few occasion, and powered up and out, with full throttle. That would have snapped my joints before without any question. The joints I was using, had already been through a couple of ARCA events, and the Warn event last week, by the time I got them, and they still are like new.
I also hear that the Cruizah will be running them soon;)
Jack Graef(Axle Jack), will be selling them for $150 each, with a lifetime warranty. I can tell you from my standpoint, it was very cool, to forget that I even ever had a U joint problem, after about the 3rd course, and just drive the rig, like I wanted too.

Thanks man! I assume you're running alloy axles - and what size tire? I might keep my 44 after all :D:D

Lance 11-19-2001, 08:05 AM The CTM's should be available to everyone after the 1st of the year. They still have never been broke. Impressive....
brector - I run Warn shafts, and 39.5 bald Boggers. :D

Flatty 11-19-2001, 11:41 AM Just one quick question... Lance, how did Kelly get invited to Vegas? I thoght it was only for the top 10, but I could be wrong. I mean I think it is super col that she gets to go, and no one deserves it more, but don't you think this is gonna cuse some issues with other people? I hope not because I want to see her GET IT!!!!
I unfortunatly was unable to finish due to breakage. Shoulda put them shocks on the rear before I went out there. Brokw both rear springs, both front springs, tore the spring plate out of the dana 60 housing. Man, it was killing me, but a blast none the less. Now I know what to build for the next season of competing.
