Help, I trashed a steering knuckle that took out both ball joints as
well as a Warn axle , inner and outer . The prob is getting the knuckle seated all the way on the yokes , goes only so far but just sticks there . Don't want to pound w. a bfh , please help !!
Thanks :flipoff2:

Did you torque the sleve that goes in, then the lower ball joint then the upper? Did the inner c get screwed up?

And did you torque it with the correct tool? Without it you need to do some very careful grinding on an old deep 3/4 socket? If your lost now your in trouble. :flipoff2:

No I didn't torque the spanner looking threaded thing at all , I was jus' replacing busted up parts . Is the insert part of getting the knuckle all the way up and seated against the ears ? I'm a lil'
confused as of now but still optimistic , been up since last night !
Work the graveyard plus have another job and just getting in from it . Will mess w/ it this w/e and try to get it straight . Oh , by
the way finally acquired a d60 front axle out of a 79' f - 350 along with a ff 14 bolt w/ Detroit and discs . Thanx for the advice guys!
