Thats got a louvered GT6 hood on it. Cool conversion to see.

I've been toying around with doing the same with spit shell I have on my parts car. I'm putting together a 73 for the road (see avatar)and when I'm done I'll still have enough parts for 1 1/2 spits.

Maybe a CJ or sammy frame under it:D but I think I would have a more substantial roll cage:eek:

Ian- If you are looking for rotary spit info you might check Grassroots Motor Sports mag. The editor had one IIRC. There was also a shop in Tallahassee that ran one in SCCA comp when I lived there in the early 90s.

Fun cars once you get through the electrical demons and get to drive them.

Where was it at? There was a red one running around North GA for a long time. It was sitting on a Blazer frame with a 454 TH400 NP205. It had a simular Roll bar. I wonder if that is the same car before being red. I haven't seen the red one in about 3 years.

That shot (the yellow one) looks like it was taken at the ZookiMelt last year.

Those are all cool. But I love all hybrids. :D

Someday I'll take a GTO and make a 4x4 out of it. That's the first 4x4 besides my dad's trucks that I fell in love with.

The red one is a ealier model from the sixties. It to appears to have a GT6 hood(bonnet) on it though an early one. So they are not likely the same one.

The roll bar looks like the standard spit roll bar sold for SCCA racing.

The first link blacklabjeep posted here (http://www.sportscarwarehouse.com/4x42.jpg ) might be the yellow one but it is hard to tell without a better pic of the front

Hadn't realized there were so many out there!
