DP you seem to be confused with the tech forum and the "wanted forums"

welllllllll ok
like an idiot i decided to adjust my pinion angle when i put my driveshaft back in. i figured just to get me though the weekend w/out vibes until i had time to put the rear axle in. WELLLLL what i didnt notice until it was midnight up in the mountains was that the bolt on my track bar was rubing against the tank. There isnt a hole in it just a deep grove. looking at it i really am not sure how much is left there. for peice of mind i would like to replace the tank but then again $$$ i wouldnt mind just slappin some rtv or something over it and going on. I ended up grinding the bolt down away from the tank so its ok at the moment. My kilby got back from my powdercoater late last week so the grove will be protected.
what do u think. is there anything you guys woiuld reccomend putting on there. I could always just melt some plastic on there... heeeheheh ejust kiddin. i dont want to BLOW UP.

It's polyethylene thermo plastic and can be thermo welded....Take it to your local body shop or motorcycle shop and see if you can get them to weld it for about $10....no flame is needed...it's done with hot air and filler rod.
