OK I am looking at getting these shims for the 77 bronco. I have 5 1/2 in wild horses springs in the front. Brand new. They have the bow in them. I want those things to stand straight up. From some write ups it sounds like you get about and inch or a little more by doing this because the spring is straight now and not arched out. Any ideas on this?? I am raked right now on it and could use that inch for sure. But I guess he sells the one with the inch lift built in. Which ones should I get. Also it says for offroad use only, is this just for the legality issues of it or is there some kinda reason I couldn't drive around town with them. Are there any disadvantages to these? Thanks alot guys

well I guess i just dont get it. if my spring is bowed out then how is a spacer from front to back going fix my side to side problem? I would get it if the were bowed forward but they are not.

your srping are bowed because of
-bent frame
-trac bar wrong
-mounting hardware wrong

The coil shims correct the foward lean you get when you don't use radius drop brackets

I have been discussing the springs on another board and we have came to the conclusion that the spring cups are bent. Si I will straighten them and put some 1/4 plate under neath and see what that does. they both look that bad and the track bar is adjusted right.
