I have the weber's, they work way better than the weber downdrafts, and you can make them run on inclines and angles. Power is also much improoved.

I ran dual sidedrafts for many years. I had the Mikuni, but the Weber DCOE is the way to go nowadays. The Mikuni has been out of production for some time now and it is hard to find parts (like rebuild components, jetting, etc).

When they're dialed in properly, the sidedrafts are like fuel injection. They run well at all angles. I fiddled with mine for many years before finally taking it into a shop that specialized in dual sidedrafts. They build circle track racers. They put it on their computer with all of my engine specs. Ran awesome after that.

With my 3tc toyota swap, dual side drafts will be my only option besides a downdraft weber. with everyone heading the f/i direction, are you guys getting any good buys on these side drafts?

I once had a set of sidedrafts for a 3tc, I sold them to a friend, I think he was wanting to sell them, there mikuni though....but he didn't want more than $300 for them.

Sky,

Does he have intake and linkage, or just carbs.

Thanks,
Jim

I dealt with a place in So Cal that has great Weber prices, Fast Freddies. Don't have any contact info on them in front of me now though.

Glenn hit the nail on the head. 'ONCE ' they are set up correctly , they are awsome. To find someone to do this is a headache. A major pain.
