Just wanted to know how everyone liked the courses this time.

There was a lot of disscusion in January about the course set up, and how it was disliked that the cones were stacked close, and the cone seemed to be more of an of an obsticle than the rocks:rolleyes:

I have to admit that I felt the same way in Jan. I felt that most of the courses wouldn't even have been an obstacle if not for the cones:( .

This weekend seemed a lot better. More so on Sunday, but the cones on Sunday were very wide spread, and allowed for more than one line to be attempted, and made to obstacle the rocks, not the cone.

The courses were still very difficult with 12 foot wide cones, as oppossed to the six and a half feet they have been in the past.

How do you all feel about them??

Good question Brian. Though not a competitor, I did notice that it was more of an obstacle based event than a cone event based. Heck, the one that was dubbed "Urban Assault" had cones that were something like 30 feet apart (or so it seemed).

I really liked this weekends event. Man made courses are going to be a designers paradise. The courses will be as hard as we can imagine and make them to be and maybe hard enough that you won't need cones :)

Big Rich put on a great event! The courses were tough, rocks were big and the holes were even bigger! A couple of the courses seemed unpassable...but some were able to get through these:D

I have no problems with how the courses were, and look forward to seeing more and more courses out there!

The courses were great, you had to plan your attach and use your skills and experance to navagate them versus only following the cones because that is the only way you can go,
I like the man made courses and can't wait to get on some more

It was a Great event
