Are there any "Big" trail ride events going on at Disney this summer? How does Disney work? Do you have to buy a day or weekend pass or can you just show up and wheel? A group of us from SD want to plan a trip down there this summer.

If there isnt an event its show up pay at Hogans and wheel, There is camping and such as well. There are lots of events there, when its just like a club run or what not it doesnt matter to much you can still wheel the only time I think it isnt come when you want is if its a weekend of a comp.


No can do on bumpin the date up on my end, its set in stone!! Im runnin a tight schedule this summer! Ill be on a canoe trip the weekend before this..... Im in Al this weekend coming up, then in 2 weeks to Branson...... My wife keeps me busy!

There will be a lot of peeps down there on Memorial Day weekend . Lots of fun that weekend:D

I may be up for that. I am more than ready to go back to Diz.

I had a blast last time I was there, I rolled and totalled my rear pass. quarter panel on Lil'Blue but I am ready again right now.

I'm a Mech Engineer for SimplexGrinnell. I do fire sprinkler design and Project Management. I just moved here from the Black Hills last Memorial Day. Cant wait to get back to the hills though.

Thats cool I work for the fire department so i have inspected Fire sprinklers Alot in the last 10 yrs. It is nice out in the hills I use to go out there four or five times a summer when i lived up there as a kid. If you ever go down to Disney let me know and i will try to meet up with you guys

Ive seen the Durango a few times when I was down, ProRocks last year, and I dont remember if it was the Cleanup or what but one other time I saw it didnt know you were on here... If its all Yotas that leaves me out too :flipoff2: (my s10 used to have a yota front bumper did that count?) Im definately a toole, Ive never had my 10 only drove my dads 55 willys down there..... He should be going along on this trip as well work permitting. And you guys wanting to go earlier go, hell there is always someone wheelin out there Disney is great fun on any weekend!

You guys get ready to come down let me know, and I'll get a few of the Extreme4wheelers together and we can show you around. I live about 20 min from the dam. We have a few hard core guys around here and we wheel up there all the time. My regular Email is klamp@upperspace.net If you don't want to camp we could also hook you up with the motel #s around here and know the better places to eat etc... As far as runs go, I think there is gonna be a bunch from Tx there on Mem weekend and ther is always someone there on weekends. It doesn't cost to go run, but if you want to camp and store your stuff, Hogans is by far the best place. We are going to go to Clayton on the 14th of June if you want to come do that too.

Nope red with a tube cage.. Been in the shop this winter for the complete overhaul. Gone to the 40's and D60, 14 bolt etc. Should be running by Mem day ( I hope!)

The big change is the coils! Front and rear. Gonna to be sweet!

Ill try and make it if my rid is done.

I'll be done by then and ready to go. I might hit it sooner as well if I am not to busy at work :cool:

If that an open invite to meet in Disney on the 20th I'll see if I can roust up a few from around here. We have a Sammy on 33's, my Jeep on 34's, and by then maybe a yota on 36's. Long as you guys don't mind a few younger guys who enjoy beer and wheelin. Disney is a blast and if you've never been there you are in for a real treat. Russ is an excellent guy to do business with and if you are camping I highly reccomend his place. He even has a couple of trailers with all the amenities if you are interested in going that route.

What I really need is someone who is willing to leave on a Monday morning and wheel with me Monday afternoon, evening and then again on Tuesday all day and evening and then leave Disney on Wednesday.

I fawked my motor up a lil, appears I bent a valve or burnt up a valve, I have 0 compression on one cylinder took the oilpan off and didnt see any holes through the piston. hope to have the head off and somthing in the works this weekend. :(

If its who I think your talking about his name is Travis. He is pretty damned cool and he does like to get after it. It is a grey and black(I believe) Blazer (s-10) and it is topless from the cab back, like my runner.

Last I knew it had 36's on it and sounds like a John Deer :flipoff2:

I will be there this weekend with some others from oklahoma. Ill be in a white toy exoed on 44s with a fresh roll over. white ccsb 4x4 psd with a hillbilly lookin camper on the front of my trailer. Always cool to meet new people to wheel & drink a few with.

I twisted a rear d-shaft and broke a lockout or an outer (need to check this week), some minor cab damage

Travis (S10) 2 joints and ripped the ears off the inner and outer on one break, crossmember (fixed at camp)

KS Toy had nothing happen other than a bent up fender

No, didn't try the big one, but made it up most everything else I tried. Travis and I ran Little Blue backwards...that's a treat :D

Yea, I drove into that damn hole-in the dark going back after "someone" broke a rear DS. I backed out of it ok but I was on level ground. I can see the problem droping in from the other side.
