I used to be able to arrange my music files by the date i downloaded them. Now my options are "by artist, by title, by album name, by track number, etc."

how do i get back to being able to arrange by "modified"?

view detailed list and you should be able to just click on the appropriate column to do the sort

it's not one of the options anymore though. The options used to be:

Name
Size
Type
Modified (what i used)

Now they are:

Name
Size
Type
Artist
Album Title
Year
Track number
Duration

i tried going to "customize folder" and changing it from music to documents, but that didn't fix it either. I don't know what's going on cuz in my subfolders of a few specific cds i still have the old choices. weird :confused: :confused:

Can you right click on the title bar in Detail View (Name, Size, Type, Etc.) and choose to add "modified" back in as an option?

Sometimes you can do that and with XP it seems like something they may have added.

I'm not using XP so I don't know. Just an idea.
