Ok, instead of Adding to the other one, its just easier to start a new one, i am wondering how you all felt about it, how many were turned away

It was a great event tons of people, i feel bad for the ones that got turned away. :usa:

I had a great time there and can't wait to get the pics developed so I can look at them. The only complaint I had was that there was a lack or no food available on site which stupid me assumed there would be. I hope next time there will be lots of food of some sort someone missed out on making lots of money in selling food. There were lots of people to my surprise and I could only make it on Sunday to see the finals. It rocked even so!:smokin:

Awsome action. Sorry to see no food or drink (we just brought all of our own stuff), but I'm sure some hot dog stands would have been real nice. We got turned away the first time because there was not a proper permit for having an event with more than 1000 people (this is what the sherif told me). The sherif wasn't turning people away though, it was the gate keeper. We simply went around the corner, switched drivers and told the guy we were going into the camp ground for a picnic. In all the confusion down there, he didn't recognize us at all. We also had a bunch of kids jumping around the van so that probably helped to throw him off :D I think there could have been a few more trash cans spread around also.

More out houses as well. They were full on Sat. Dont even want to think what they were like sunday :barf: :barf: I will defenently go again. A few more trash cans around would have help more as well. I think some type of score board would have helped as well. Another idea may have been for a judge on each obsticale to have a hand PA. and annonce the drivers name and the best score for the day on the obsticale then the drivers scoe after the run as well.

I think all in all it was awesome, yes there is room for improvement.
Considering this was a first crack , I think it ROCKED!!
Yes food concession and more "facilities" would have been great.
By the way what's up with people tossing their trash around???
I brought lunch and beers and guess what .... I packed it all out.(even cleaned up the area around my truck)
Hopefully the Lake Amador people are ok and allow this to happen again.:cool:

All of the trash was cleaned up by the event staff, I did see some people carrying out their trash and for that I was gratefull. It's too bad everyone can't be so thoughtfull. The event kicked soo much ass it's not funny!
The owner of the property absolutely loved it too, he was VERY Impressed!
I'm pretty sure the only reason there would not be another event is if for some reason the county stopped it. I sincerely doubt that will happen.

Here is a good story for ya. My friend and I showed up a 10:00 on sat morning and the guy at the gate said don't plan on going to the rock crawling event because it was all sold out and nobody was allowed up there. I told him that I was just droping off some parts to a freind at the camp ground. The guy at the gate said that would be ok. When we got to the event the people were glad to take my money and give a parking pass to park at the boat launch area. That event rocked!!!!!!! I have to admit I really was wondering where the hell the event could have been held.

I talked to two of the guys running in the event and they both said it was way better then some of the ARCA events.

Awesome event! Sorry to hear they were turning people away. At least some people were creative enough to "go fishing!!!"

We gotta do it again! Bigger and better! I'm sure more people would turn out!

I'm betting more people will try to enter too after seeing that carnage!

i was very impressed. had an awsome time!!:beer: :beer: stayed fri through sun and would do it again! the courses was cool and the people were great. good job big rich.
allthough, my old lady did complain about the blur rooms being full so fast!

I talked to a dude sunday who is a driver. he dilivered a trailer full of food to the lodge parking lot thursday because they said they needed to feed 5,000 people at the event??????????????????? he too wondered if anyone used it.

It was a great start. There are the things mentioned that could make it even better but in all I think it rocked!

Great show, not enough blue rooms, had buddys that couldn't get in, some great lines on sunday.
