Rust in tank.

I friend i know has a 1980 Honda "Passport" and the tank has alot of rust in it. Whats the best way to treat it?

KREEM... you can get it at just about any motorcycle shop..It is three Parts.. first you use acid in it.. then you use a rinse, then the coating...

has worked great for me.. Works just as it says it will.. Just for this EXACT problem.. i had a 3 wheeler tank that was real bad.. Even had a Pin hole leak from the rust.. still working good to this day... I made it pretty thick in the place where it had the pin whole.. to do it right it takes a few days to do it.. got to let the acid do it's trick over night and when you put the sealer in you need to let it cure for a few days if it is thick in some spots...
