I just finished changing my chevy 205 over from the slip yoke to fixed.

Question one-can i just use rtf to make the gaskets for it or shoul i make them with some cardboard?

#2 Can i use the flange from the front input on the back output so i can run a cv joint on the back

Thanks in advance.

You got a website? What's the weight on a 6.5L TD?

I've got to see more...

Thanks,
Phil

RTV should be fine but on the rear output shaft check your end play. I remember when doing one of mine I needed to double stack gaskets. On 99% of chevy 205's that came with a fine spline front output they have 30 splines. The rear out put has 32 splines. You can get a trick one though from Jesse at high angle driveline, check it out.

I offer a few things - a one ton c/v joint and custom flange so you can mount it to your 205 - also a driveline e-brake set up if your intersested - and a 1/2 ton set up but i do not recomend this with 35" tires or larger-jess 530-877-2875
