FrankenRover 05-05-2003, 09:19 PM I am not a Rover snob. There is 2 picts of LR or LR parts though.:flipoff2:
In fact, my wife is on a personal quest to have one of every cool 4x4 in our stable. I will never have the time to get them all finished though.
Current stable: only 2.5 of which actually run
Defender 110 hybrid
1985 Toyota Land Cruiser Fj60
1985 Jeep CJ-7
1968 Jeep M715 5/4 ton truck
1985 Toyota 4Runner
On her list of must haves in the future:
Toyota FJ40
Toyota FJ55 Iron Pig
Early Bronco
Damn, I am gonna need a big warehouse just to keep all the crap.

Yeah, but did he make it? That is the question!
Serious One 05-05-2003, 10:48 PM NOPE! :flipoff2:
I got the unenviable task of being his winch anchor whilst he was hauling that beast up with his Li'l Smokey (trademark).
I also ended up on my back under his truck removing his rear driveline. Paybacks for the grunting and swearing that we did in my driveway last fall doing the LT-230 swap. Fair's fair eh?
R&P breakage sounds cool! :D
Rover Addiction 05-06-2003, 08:47 AM Bill,
Are you sure this is Sandi's list? Sounds to me like it's more likely your list! :flipoff2:
Actually, I see this here too.. Only her list includes a 57 Chevy hot rod and a Karmann Ghia convertible.. We got the Ghia and it runs well, but the Chevy is too big of a project for me right now.

Yup. Time to REALLY consider stepping up the ring-gear diameter. I don't care how many times you stress-relieve, shot-pin, toss holy-water on, your not gonna' live long with a small ring, torque and gearing.
