Just got out of street trucks and into 4x4. I have a F-250 and regretfully it is a long box. I don't plan on spending too much cash but want to lift and put tires on it. Right now it is completely stock except a flowmaster exhaust. It has a 4speed w/ granny low and reverse, 351W with 79k miles. It runs good but not great. I am very mechanically inclined. Just don't want to go wasting any cash on bunk stuff.

Looking for information on:

factory replacement carb manufacturers - needs to pass smog

mild ignition upgrades

lift kit manufacturers, types, etc. - I know little about this. I want an inexpensive complete kit that will give 2-4 inches
