So my co-worker has a 2001 Dodge with the Cunmmins and auto tranny. He wants information on Power Modules. He is looking at either the 60HP BD or the 65HP Edge. I told him to go check out TDR but he doesn't want to shell out the $35 to asck questions. What is the best bang for the buck and how about EGT with everything else factory. I know some of you guys have bombed trucks are check out TDR so if you could help my co-worker out I would be gratefull. He needs to get his trucked bombed to keep up with mine.

In that range best bang for the buck seems to be the PowerEdge EZ. Canyonstatecomponents.com has it for $500 delivered last time I checked. That and a good 4" exhaust and it will have toooonns of power and be fairly idiot proof. He should get a valve body upgrade for the trans though, that is THE weak link.

How much does he want to spend. You give me a number and I will tell ya which mods he can/should do first.

We have one truck that we are not sure how much TQ it is putting out because last time at the dyno it pegged it at 1000 not to much into the pull. And he just put a 100 hp propane kit on it yesterday!!. :) Too bad it's a Ford. :(

Right now he is just looking at the Chips. I keep telling him he needs exhaust and guages and upgrade his tranny but all he wants is a chip so that is all I am asking about. I'll be there with my STROKER to pull his broken ass out. And as far as :nuke: goes I have seen both the Stroker and the Cummins in the 1000+ torque range. Still waiting on those numbers from the Duramax. All are great trucks though. You got to love a diesel though.

He really put the damper on the fun with the auto tranny. He needs to beef that up first. He could make 300hp at the flywheel but if you can't get it to the ground you never know it's there. :)

I think we have him talked into a Pyro guage but he still says his tranny will hold up. All I have to say glad I have the STROKER and the 6 Speed :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2:
