About to start on my friends Dave's SAS on his 91 bronco using the 79 bronco D44, i am looking for write up or pics that will aid me,
eveything is going to slide in like butter', the only thing that scares me is the trac bar, so pics of how others have done it would be nice
PS i already saw Brain S. write up, he made his own top bracket, we have the top bracket drop down from the 79 and i want to use it

Here are a couple links of a sas on an explorer which would be almost the same as the bronco

some of the pics show the track bar setup.

I hope everyone drops some good info here. :) I am going to be starting my brothers 93 in a few months.

I am planning on doing a SAS similar to what is done on IFS toyota's. Planning on switching to leaves with a Dana 60 front. Unless someone has a better idea.

He wants to run the new 37 inch boggers.
Here's a link I saved for the pics:

well, really, your way sounds alot esier than what i helped my friend do on his 86 bronco. we built a subframe for the front to run chevy 6" leafs, and a D44, it sits at 19" of lift, with a 3" body lift and 42s. i have pics somewhere, but it doesnt sound like it would help you too much.

Outrageous what they want for that kit huh?? Nice stuff but DAMN!! You could build it for way less that half of what he wants. You should be fine with the Dana 44 up front too. You won't have to go too big in order to clear the pumpkin on the engine crossmember.

With the trac bar on the engine crossmember there is no way you can make it as long as the drag link.

Got bumpsteer?
