I'm currently running 35" Simex tyres on my Defender based Ibex.
Will just running taller tyres than stock screw up the castor angles ? I know lifting the suspension will, but my ride height is about stock at the mo. It does feel like I've lost some self-centring on the steering.
I'm looking at building a custom set of radius arms (clearanced for better steering lock), so now is the time to do it.

Andy, drop me a PM, i've got a pair of castor corrected radius arms you might be interested in. even got new bushes in them! :D
they're bent at the chassis end, to take the stress off of the bushing there, and they're bent down where the axle bushes are. it does really make the steering back to 'normal', but you'll need a double CV propshaft, as it moves the nose of the diff down quite a lot.
you could get the swivel's re-drilled to adjust the castor angle.

NO
castor is a function of steering geometry. Bigger tires will only raise your cog.
