I live in Austraila and love to follow the comps but have a heck of a time trying to work out who drives what when people talk about the competitiors in the discussion threads.

Thought it might be good idea to have a thread where there are pics of competition rigs and the people who drive and spot them. Not only of the guys that post here on PBB but the rest of the competitors that dont post here as well.

I guess i could start posting a few of the guys that i have worked out myself but Id probably fawk it up so I wont.

Suggestions??

I tried to get that started with my recent UROC pix featured here on the Pirates' home page. But getting the teams to pose or at least in the shot is only half of it if not identified.
I sure would be cool if ya'll paste paste team shots here with the crews ID'd ...

Awsome this is long needed. I guess its easy for all the guys that actually get to these events to work out who is who but others like myself that will be lucky to ever get to a US comp can only guess who this or that pic is of.

Another sugestion is on the official pirate competition picture section it would be good if the driver and spotter or atleast the team name was put bellow the pic rather than just a file number then we all get to actually know who they are.

This first one we had 9 entrants but thetre is a second round comming up soon and it sounds like we should have about 20. rock crawling as a recognised event in aus is only about a year old here but is taking off real quick with rigs being built specificaly for rock events only.

please post your first and last names as well as your pirate4x4.com screen names.

a good pic of you and yours rigs would be helpfull.

i get called by potential sponsors and asked this question frequently. so from now on i will refer them to this link and if you do not properly identify yourself or your rig then you may be loosing potentially important exposure.


chris geigers post is a great example.

if you are posting a pic on behalf of a team then at least post some contact info for the team owner. email info would be great

Not my rig obviously, but one that looks great, is competitive, has a real enthusiastic driver, and gets lots & lots of exposure (send a sponsor Camo :p).

Just any pics of the comp rigs and or spotters, would be awesome. I hate it when people are talking about for example: Gilelland "or other big name crawler" and over here in Aus. I havent seen the rig, except here on pirates, and cant always put a face or rig into the equation.

So anyone with any pics of comp rigs and spotters?
