I have done all the searches known to man and still cant find what I want to know. I know about the chevy tie rod conversion but know I have seen a f150 tie rod conversion. someone please tell me about this setup. Is it strong, cheap, easy, whats the deal. I cant find anyone in town with a 7/8 18 left hand tap to thread the chevy conversion, so im looking at other options, ya I know I can buy the stuff from someone like rockstomper but if the other is easier what the hell, I dont live in Moab anyway its Ohio baby. Oh Its for a 74 eb with dana 44 and chevy disk conversion Thanks in advance;)

check out http://www.bcbroncos.com/steering1.html for info on the F-150 steering setup. It and the Chevy conversion both work well. I like the Chevy conversion using Rockstomper rods and Chevy 1-ton Ends makes it bulletproof.

Call Chuck at BC and talk to him about the F-150 stuff... Hes a good guy and will line ya out.

i guess what i need is what parts to use, like part #s or a write up of somone that has done it. I cant find what years the tie rods are from or any of that stuff. just people who sell the whole kit

For which one? the Chevy or F150? Call Chuck about the F-150 and he will tell you what you need..even if you dont buy it from him. The Chevy stuff is fairly easy, and Scott at Rockstomper will tell you which rod ends to buy and you will need to buy beg borrow a reamer to ream the knuckles and pitman arm out..
