I doubt its been done, there is no room to mount leafs outside the frame, under the frame would be a bad idea, and inside the frame has the motor mouns/front crossmember in the way. As far as being hard to control, only as hard to control as coils.

Yup,Avs built one awhile back.Don't think it would be any different then coils up front.Could get some crazy flex with 4elip front and rear.:eek:

There's a flatty buggy running around Phoenix that's 1/4 eliptic front and rear. The flex is off the sanity scale and the body roll makes it flop about like a rag doll. It's definately different, but I don't know about good.
