c6 id info needed

with out looking at it(not sure i could looking at it) how can i tell the difference between a c6 for a big block and for a small block.. i need one for my 5.0 and im wondering if theres any way of iding the c6 a buddy of mine has. to see if it will work or not.. thanks ..

The only easy way is to look at the bolt pattern. The BB pattern is wider than the SB pattern. you can measure the back of your block then go to the yards armed with the tape measure to find out.
