Anyone recomend an aftermarket brake pad for front discs? I have a 77 k10 with 36's. Just wondering if there are any pads that will decrease my stoping distance. thanks

Try a larger bore master cylinder such as one from a 3/4 ton

i have had the best luck with the bendix metloc pads...they wear out the rotor faster than normal but you get alot of life out of the pads..before i was using thos i was spittin pads out..they were breaking off the backing and goin metal to metal on the rotor..give thos a try

The 3/4 ton m/c will work with my stock booster, right? BTW where can I get those brake pads? thanks for the ideas.

I like Raybestos "Brute Stop" pads.

I have them on all 4 corners of my k5 and on my s10
