Everything you need to operate your winch from the safety and comfort of your cab. Switches. Wiring. Engraved mounting plate and complete instructions. All wiring is pre-terminated for you - simply connect to your winch, supply a 12V power source from under your dash somewhere and you are ready to go.

For details, see the "What's New" section of our web site or go here:

Any chance for something that takes up less dash real estate? Maybe a small plate with just In/Out/Arm? Worst case I guess I could just ditch the mtg. plate and make my own holes, dash is already made up of flat panels.

Check their website...that comment was made previously in another thread, and the plate size has diminished....they might have new pics up now.

We are getting ready to have the new plates cut today. Here is a picture of the CAD drawing for the new plates. The plate is 3" wide by 2" tall.

Figmo, if i send you my plate, can i get a smaller plate?

I have not installed it yet, so it is still brand new

figmo

No problemo. Send it on back and I'd be happy to swap you out.

Will I still be able to get the larger plate. It looks like the perfect size to cover a hole in my dash that the previous owner of my rig cut for a stereo

I have a very limited supply of larger plates left. I'll let customer demand determine if we make another run on them in the future.

Anybody who needs the bigger plate should order quick and then send me an email afterward specifically requesting the larger style dash plate.

Figmo, do you take Paypal? My Jeep money is in my Paypal acct. If you do, then I will not have to check with the "Boss" first. :)

How long are the wires from the back of the switches to the terminal ends? I want to make sure I will be able to mount it where I want it to go without messing with it.

figmo
06-20-2003, 01:04 PM
Leads are 6 feet long by default. If anybody needs longer leads we can custom make them any length you want. No charge within reason. Meaning - if you need 2 or 3 feet extra then no problem. But if you tell me "I need 20 feet" - well there will be an extra charge for that obvoiusly.

Just email me after ordering and I'll make it up to your specs.

Will this work with an integrated solinoid Warn (i.e. HS9500i)?

Yeah it will. Same winch I have. I plan to install it this weekend. I'll report back if there are any issues. Highly doubt it though.

I got this kit too, and i love it. Sorry but the dash plate had to go, but it is still a great kit and I would recommend it to anyone!

Cool pic.

NO offense taken. Once you buy it, it's yours. Toss the plate in the trash if it doesn't flip your hotcakes :p

BTW - anybody with a digi-cam who installs this on a winch that wasn't covered in the instructions - could you please send me a pic of your solenoid setup along with a description of which solenoids you used? I want to evolve the instructions to handle as many different flavors of winches out there as possible - and I've only got one or two types here personally.

TIA

Sweet! Looks better than mine will when mounted to the cage. Yours stands out like a shithouse in the fog with all that hammer green paint :flipoff2:

Got it wired up last night, just need to mount the switches somewhere. Not a problem at all. The picture in the instrustions must be for a "non-i" warn solenoid pack so instead of trying to look at it, I just usd a test light to find where to put which wire.

Great bang for the buck IMO

One small oops. Looks like the main wiring cable got cut somehow. Don't see anything in the box that could have done it. That's what they make electrical tape for and shrink sleeves.

After seeing this here, and knowing someone who had already recieved one, I placed an order. It was late on enight, no phone calls, no getting voice mail. I went to the web site and placed my order in minutes. 4 days later it arrives and I was so surprised to see how nice this is. I'ts not just a quick slapped together collection of Radio Shack crap.

Nice job guys, count on selling more of these!

Is the in/out button momentary, or does it flip and the winch just keep running?

Would it be possible to order just the harness without the plate and switches?? I have access to Marine rocker switches that will match my ARB switches and would like to use them instead. Also, anyone used this with a ramsey yet and can you still use the traditional remote as well? or just the panel? Thanks

Ary

The harness would just be some 3 conductor cable with connectors on each end. We could probabally sell you just this with instructions. Give us a call: 208-660-6905

Oh, nevermind then, I can get 3-conducter wire easily too. Thanks for the info, maybe I'll get lazy and just order your product one day, but I need to get my winch working first :flipoff2:

If Brian at JD's ever finishes my cage I would. My Shit is in pieces at the moment. I stop by yesterday and he had the shop all lockup. All that's left is to be painted and installed we did all the welding this past Saturday and did finishing touches on Sunday.
I hate nagging people but... Hey do you want to earn some money, give me a qoute and if you don't mind I'll like to give you a hand not because I don't trust you or to give me a break on cost but I want to learn as much as possible.

I can't wait untill I start building my axles. I'm calling you by the way :flipoff2:
