Reliable seems to be the brand, carried by a company called rigid hitch. The primary name I have always heard of is Dexter, so I am curious if anyone else has had any experiece with them.

Through a friend's business, I can get the 6000#, 86" wide, 8 on 6-1/2 BC with electric brakes unit for $290(list is $416).

price seems attractive for a couple of pending trailer projects myself and a couple of friends have planned.

Any input you guys have is appreciated.

Thanks for the input. the price is off of the price sheet he got with the catalog, and was just the Jobber price. what does it take to get set up as a dealer? I have my tax number and Retailers number (for Illinois). would be handy to have access to.
