Also, anyone know if a clogged cat could cause my 87 FJ60 to miss between 1600 and 2200 rpm? I was thinking hairballs or something. I'd say you better fix the missing problem first, that may have something to do with it :p No, a clogged CAT won't cause a miss at cruise, but bad plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and carb. problems certianly would.
