Other than Elisha Cuthbert what is the appeal of this show?

I just watched it for the first time tonight. The show doesn't flow at all, too many dramatic pauses, too many wide angle camera shots. Definately only has enough material to fill a 1/2 hour show. Is it always like that or did I see it on a bad night?

Hard to just watch one episode and get it, it is a contuning series. My room mate always watches it, and so, I get stuck watching it. After 2 episodes, I started makeing sure I watch it as much as monster garage and american chopper.

Maybe I need to watch it a few more times. I like CSI better though, 'cept CSI doesn't have Elisha.

Elisha's a sweety, aint she. :D

You'd have to have watched it for a few Paul, the season openers were cool. Although the show lacks the punch it had from the beginning, i understand what's going on when i catch an episode. Caught last week's, missed this week's, but oh well, i hardly watch any TV at all, so no big.

its one of those shows you have to watch the first episode, and and not miss any to understand. I love it, once you get into it its like a drug, its even better if you rent the dvd's. The first season was pretty good. If your rent the dvd's its around 18 hours, i caught one episode last year and decided to rent the dvd, watched all 18 hrs over 3 days:eek: , but i love that kinda shiat:D

What they said. It won't make any sense if you just watch it once. I got hooked because I didn't get it the first time I saw it. I had to watch it the next time to put everything together.

Let's see, next week is the last episode...you missed the first 22 of them. It would probably be better if you started with episode 1, then you'd get the hang of the format (e.g. there is a helluva lot going on within each 1 hour episode...the format tries to include the viewer in that...).

Yup, we're hooked at my house. I also like CSI, but I try not to watch the first 5 minutes of an episode 'cause then there's NO FAWKIN' WAY I'm turning it off & I usually have stuff I need to do instead :D

You tune in on hour 23 of a 24 hour show and can't understand why you don't get it????? :flipoff2:

haha fo real!

i do think that the last half of this season was kind of weak. It was much better when the bomb was around, cuz frankly i couldn't care less if we go to war with the "middle east" or not.

What is this show, "24" and who is Elisha Cuthbert ???????
Never heard of the show or her. I rarely watch "network" TV.

You don't know? 24 is about all the crap that people suspect goes on in the government, but can't prove. Jack Bauer is a rogue agent that a few people in the government believe in (including the President), but they are constantly being thwarted by those that don't believe in Jack. Elisha Cuthbert plays the part of his daughter, Kim.

What a lame show. If that much happened to one family in a 24 hour period, they'd be dead from exhaustion.

I watched the entire first season and hated it. My SO loved it but got bored with it toward the end.

The daughter is hot but I don't think any of them can act all that well (with a couple of exceptions).

Two thumbs down.

If you ask me, the gal who plays Kate Warner is a lot hotter than the daughter, but then maybe my tastes have aged with me :)

Thanks for the pic and info. Like I said, I watch very little "network" TV.

Me, Kelly, and UGET IT were having this discussion last night. I couldn't decide which was hotter, so I picked both for a threesome. :D
