i mashed the gas yesterday coming out of a hole and my rear pinion yoke just schaddered. The driveshaft is fine, but the yoke is destroyed! <IMG SRC="smilies/usa.gif" border="0">

Happened to a friend of mine. I tend to be easy on the gas, but I carry a spare yoke, just in case.

i blew the yoke up on a 9 inch i used to run. took alot of torque and some bouncing in the rocks though.

i actually did it again on sunday, but this time i was coming up some logs, i was not even on the throattle much

obviously your U-joint at the axle is binding, get the pinion set right and get some kind of bar to limit axle wrap and you will be fine

had a tration bar on there, but that broke then went the yokes....
