looking at a SYE in the near future, i was wondering if i need to have the Sye installed before i measure for the CV drive shaft? or is this done with the SY and stock shaft in place?
another thing, after i get the SYE and new CV drive shaft, if i add a 1.5" spacer lift and a belly up kit will the shaft be too short? will i then need another CV shaft or do i some how take the future spacer lift and belly up into account and order a longer shaft from the get go?

Best to do the the new output shaft, with yoke...then measure for the CV. Center of output shaft yoke to center of pinion yoke. Get a long spline d/s...you'll have no worries about future mods.

Who were you going to be ordering the SYE from? If you get a Woody you can just give him the stock measurements beforehand and you will get the correct shaft at the same time your SYE comes. Tom has done so many of these things and can get the shaft right on for after the conversion. Give him a call at 1-877-497-4328 and he can clear everything up for you.
