Just got back from a little joy ride up in the Greenwater, Washington. Didn't do anything to extreme. (I was by myself) It was pretty fun. This might sound a little crazy, but it was about 55 degrees and SNOWING!!!

The sun was out, and thats right, the flakes were falling.

About 4:00 I climbed to about 1500 feet when it really started to snow. I went as far as I could but I was braking tracs in about 6" of snow so it got a little harry. (Open Dif with 31" tires.)

All together it was pretty fun. On the way home it started snowing very hard in Greenwater. Even crazier thing is that today it snowed in Buckley and even Bonney Lake in the middle of MAY!!! (Bonney lake is only about 500')

P.S. For all the West siders, CHINOOK PASS is open. That means we get to play at NACHES PASS.

From what I have heard The Naches Pass trail is closed until sometime in June. If we don't follow the rules that will be the next area shut down. Help us all out.

We can't let that happen. You would think that they would have it oped this weekend, being a holiday and all.

Im sure we will here of people making the run this weekend even if it is closed. Its a bragging wright for who ever crosses it first for the year.

The western part of Naches Pass is closed until July 15th. This is Naches Trail #1175. This is the trail from FS 70 to Government Meadows.

From Government Meadows to FS 19 is also called Naches Pass, it is trail #684 in the Naches ranger district. It is not subject to the same restriction, neither are any of the other trails in the Little Naches or Taneum/Manastash area.
