Nice etiquette for a newbie :flipoff2: .

They are brackets, it's not rocket science.

Here's what I did:
1) More than likely you'll have to do a little grinding on each bracket to make sure they fit the axle tubing nicely. It'll help reduce the amount of welding required.
2) Remove old axles & use them as a template for determining the location of the brackets on your new axles.
3) Before welding make sure you've got the axle's centered based on the wheel mounting surfaces, not the pinion.
4) Tack weld them on before final welding.
5) It's not an exact science, if you are off a 1/4" here or there, you can live with it.
6) Weld them up and slap those axles in place.

the upper arm brackets are not going to fit right on the 9" like how the are on the stock axle. I would cut the upper arm mounts on the cross member and angle them in a little more and put the new upper brackets on the top of the diff. That would allow you to eliminate the track bar. I used the RE kit on my rear 60 and front 44. If you want to make it just like stock then pull out the stock axles and make the new one look like the stock One thing be sure about is to figure out what the pinion angle is going to be and set it and the weld on the spring perches first and make them a 0 deg when the pinion is where it needs to be. That way you will not have to adjust it with the arms. If I were to put a 9" in my TJ I would have done it like this.
