Ok the air filter on my XR650 looks like it is cleanable but it looks to be a wet paper element. can i clean it. if i can do i clean it like i would clean a K&N.

that looks like an "xr650L dual sport" filter. i hade one.

i didn't try cleaning mine it didn't look like it would fare well with slovent. i just replaced it with a unifilter(foam) it flows better cause there isn't a back fire screen. i guess you could try blowing it out with compressed air, but i'd replace it with a washable one.
