Well,
Ive been drving my parents yj around for quite a while and now i am looking for a cj. My biggest dilema is i need a longer wheelbase(cj-7 ) but i live in california so i cant swap v-8 in because i have to smog it since its not a pre 74.. Do you have any ideas how i can do this?? I will be using it for everything(mud, trails, sand and hunting rig and my daily driver. I plan on building a real nice engine

I posted this before and i guess it got deleted some how

scrambler with the 6, put the 4.0 head and feul inj on it and run the crap out of it. the only way to fly in a scrambler...

i will have to beg to differ on the 258 the way to go is a 4.3 vortec motor it runs circles around my 258 and it was so easy for smog, it will kill big blocks on the dunes cause it is so light and has some serious rpms. so if you want some scrambler info let me know i have had one for 6 years so i know my way around them cool :trooper:
