Hey fellow jeepers,
Tried searching, but couldn't find an appropriate answer.

Anybody know the going price for these axles in a junkyard. I have found a 79 f250 with a Dana 60 rear and HP44 front. I plan on buying both axles. I know prices are different all over, I'm just looking for some type of info on what I should pay.

thanks in advance.

The U pull it yards around here would be 100-150 and 6 times a year there are 1/2 price weekends.

Well,
I went to the junk yard at my lunch and got the axles for $400 bucks they will take them off the truck for me. Seemed like a decent deal I can settle for $200 an axle.

Full width is in my sights, I can't wait.

That's not a bad price, $400. It all depends where you live and how many wheelers are around. I've seen the d44 out of a 77.5-79' F250, go for $400 + , alone!

To get them pulled in Chicago that is a pretty good price for the pair. At the pnp here they want 260 for the front and 160 for the rear. What yard did you find them at?

The junkyard is in Lemond, Illinois right off of route 83. The yard is huge took me a long time to walk through it. I was originally looking for a 60 front, but I just couldn't find one anywhere.
