: Buying a RR

I think it is time for a new project. Currently, I have a jeep grand (ZJ) 4.0L w/5" on short arms and 32's. Possible replacement:

*Wrangler 4.0L, probably long arms 5"+ and 35's, upgraded axles
* Another ZJ, 5.9L, long arms 5-6", 33's-35's (only 33's till $$ axles later on)
*RangeRover or Land Rover Disco, 3", 32's (at least )

This will be a DD as well. As far as the terrain, no rockcrawling (no rocks in LA), just muddy, swampy trails. Which would be the best, and why. Also, the cheaper the rig, the more $$ for suspension and axles. The TJ would be the cheapest to buy and modify I think.
So what would make the Disco or RR better or worse than the other choices? Which is better the disco or the RR.
Also, do they make long arm conversions for the land rovers, if not how do they run on short-arms.

I think the TJ is at the top of my list right now.

What part of La. are you from. If you are from the northern part there are plenty of good rocky places up this way.BUT. You got to cross state lines!:flipoff2:

Oh. IMO go for the wrangler.

Even though I wouldn't suggest any of those rigs, because I hate Jeeps, but I would have to go with the Wrangler.....
