Anybody know where I can get a Replacement Float and Sending unit combo for a 1968 F-250 in-cab fuel tank? I am having the tank boiled and lined as we speak, but can't find the float assymbly to make new again.:( This was my grandpa truck so I am trying to keep original...besides the cab is in perfect shape and have no need to change it. This is my tow vehicle now...so I need both fuel tanks working for even the short hauls:D Thanks for any help offered!

I have always gotten mine at the dealer. Once, they didn't have it cause it was too old, so I just got the next newest one they had, cut the shit off of it, and brazed it on to mine. If all else fails, it really isn't that hard to do.

Well after running out of gas several times in my 72. I took a heavy 35mm film canister, heat sealed it [sodering iron melted the top shut] then instaled it. Didn't expect it to work for long , but that was 2 years ago and its stil working.:D
