Anyone got in ideas for mounting a hi-lift in the bed of my toy pickup. I dont feel like ordering mounting brackets from Hi-Lift, I just want something cheap and effective that I can get at the Hardware store. Ideas? Any advice is appreciated.

Drill 2 holes somewhere and run bolts through them with locknuts on the other side. Run the bolts through the holes in the Hi Lift and use wingnuts to hold it in place. Worked for me.

but bushings on the bolts, then the highlift then the wing nuts.

It is a Hi Lift part number 4x400 and it can be locked, looks good and can be removed.

IF you have a rollbar with holes to mount lights on it that are not being used you can bolt the jack up there, make sure you put some rubber bushings on each side of the jack so it doesn't rattle around up there. This setup works really well becuase your jack is always accessable no matter what you have in your bed.
