Heard Tracy rolled hard crushed his cage, bent coilover, broke his winch. Walker only finished 2 obstacles. John B has 12 points. Sorta sounded like everyone rolled except Jason.

Jason, Mitch Guthrie, Fabre and Johnny G rolled as well.

Holy Crap Nice win by Team All Pro!

Team All-Pro led all day as the competition moved towards the championship. However, in the end, they won by more than 90 points over the nearest competitor.

As most of you know, we (Off-Road.Com) broadcast live to our website from the event wherever it is via High-Speed Satellite System. We post photos & the latest info regarding points, down time, roll-overs, injuries, and whatever is going on. We don't get it all, but we get as much as we can under the circumstances.

If the event promoter provides us scores, then we post them immediately as unofficial scores. However, we don't always get scores in a timely manner. This year has been better and in Cedar City we got scores every hour from UROC Heidi who kicks ass.

In a perfect world, we broadcast from the event site throughout the event. We provide an intro during the week leading up to the event and then live from contingency so we can see what Skinny's doing and tell the world...and then beginning on Friday am, we start at 8am with updates nearly every hour or so with rolls, breakdowns, & stuff. And Friday night we give you a wrap up with whose leading, whose close and whose not along with the latest scores.

Then on Saturday we start all over again. And by the end of the final night we've provided the official scores from the promoter. Those scores are on the main page and list everyone in the order provided from the promoter.

Sunday we drive our ass off to the next event...from Utah,Colorado,New Mexico or California to Baja and back...that's us.

We will be broadcasting video clips from the event sites in the near future. So as something spectacular happens with whoever, we'll post it for you'll to see. However, you have to be using Windows Format Media 9 to check it out. We currently do this in our off-road desert racing coverage, as we will this weekend from Baja at the Baja 500.

Email me with your ideas & opinions, good or bad...

We just want to make it better for the entire sport and keep those who can't go to an event, completely updated every hour or so with the latest info on what's happening.

And we can always use help. So if you're willing to work for food and represent Pirate at least as good as Lance does, then let's talk about working at the events to get more info out to the followers of rock crawling.

It's all about doing what you like to do and having fun doing it!!!

Show some freaking respect! Here is a guy working his ass off for a company who is spending thousands of dollars to take this sport to the next level. Thank God he is there pumping up the event via satellite giving live updates. Off-Road.com can toot their horn, and I hope they will continue doing so. Competitors, sponsors and events would get no recognition without the likes of them blasting info into the rock crawling world! Let's get out of "Poe-Dunk-Ville" and give credit where it's due.

No worries boys. We can't make everyone happy all the time. We are not tooting our horn, sorry if it came off like that. ORC doesn't compete with anyone in the .com world so I was just calling it like it is. Just wanted to let those who didn't know, know what and how we do it. Because every single event I've got people asking...How the hell do you do that stuff from in the middle of nowhere?

The main reason for the post was because someone asked about what was going on Friday night...and many people have no clue that they can follow the action of many of the Pirate Maniac's that compete non-stop at all these events. Whether you like it or not, we're gonna be out there puttin' out the info and helping these guys keep their sponsors happy.

And if you don't like it, then turn the station...it's all good.

Take all the photos you want and post them...that's what they are there for.

Regarding some of the other questions:

ORC is a massive site and our general complaint is that it's too hard to navigate within the website. I'll build the next event pages with a Photo Galley link on the Event Coverage Page and that'll be easier for you to find.

I checked Cedar City UROC Coverage Page and it seems to be okay and directed correctly. I know that we did have some jacked up links previously, but I fixed them when I got to Moab. We have people working on the page from the corporate offices in Las Vegas and also people at the event working on the page, so sometimes it's completely jacked up because Moe don't talk to Larry.

The photo galleries will go up today/tonight. We have 3000 raw images from Cedar City UROC that I edited down to 1600 and I've got to get them up today. Moab has about 1800 raw images that we have edited down to 800 and I'll get them out as soon as I can. It's certainly possible to separate the photos of each rig, driver, spotter, but I'd have to hire a couple people just to separate all the raw images into catagories. Going through that many images, editing, etc....we cannot post all the images we take. And trust me, some of you don't want some of this stuff in the Photo Galleries.

Is that dial-up tough when reviewing the event coverage? When I started putting in those big 485x365 photos on the page I was bumming thinking some poor bastard with dial-up would take 30 minutes to download a single page. But everyone seems to like seeing themselves in big color....

Later.

No, the event coverage pages are just about right...just takes a while to get through all the thumbnails in the photogalleries.

Thanks for the response.

I'm simply coming from the angle that I don't see Lance pimping the PBB over there. That's respect.

Hey Mustard Dog...LayOff will ya...yeah, DesertBull works with ORC, but he's more like a Pirate than most of the Pirate-wanna-be's I've met....

DesertBull, Thanks for the fun times this last week...the ride on your quad was a blast...makes me wanna buy another one.

And so is Brad Ulrich, however he doesn't start off all his posts with an ORC add.

Out of respect for all concerned...Lance doesn't allow any other BB's to pimp their site here. He in turn doesn't go to their site and pimp PBB. I'm sure desertbull didn't mean any disrespect in his post, but bottom line is he was totally pimping his site here. :roxy:

Okay...
But I thought he was just introducing himself to the board and letting us know what he does at the events since Dirty Harry and Arizona Zuk attached a link to his site.

Man, it sure is easy to get emotional on this board and I'll be the 1st one to admit to being defensive when I feel that someone is being wronged...

Enough of that.
