I dunno man.

I had one in my YJ. Yea, they do "cure" the possibility of driveline vibs, and eliminate the slip yoke.

But it's just a "cut" stock shaft. No real upgrade to strength. If the money's good, I'd go for it, but if it's not that good, I'd look at an AA or JB.

I've got one. No complaints.

Great instructions too...

You can find other kits with a 32 spline shaft for $259 at www.collinsbrosjeep.com (http://www.collinsbrosjeep.com) or www.afm4x4.com. (http://www.afm4x4.com.) I even believe High Angle Driveline has one too. Do it right the first time.

since you have a TJ, it is real easy and cheap to do it yourself. here is what you need.

SYE CV Output flange, most drive line shops can get you this.

Bolt and Washer 3/8"-24 GR5 or better
Drill and tap for 3/8"-24

Remove your drive shaft, take the boot off. You will see allot of spline. Measure and mark shaft so that 1" of spline still remians. I wrapped tape around my shaft.

Grind the rest off so that you have a very flat surface. Center punch the shaft. Using a 1/8 drill bit, start pilot hole in end of shaft 1 1/4 depth. Now use a 5/16 size drill bit and drill the piolt hole out the same depth. Tap with the 3/8-24 tap being very careful not to break it off.

Slide the SYE CV output flange on, put your bolt in, and get a CV drive line made.

This will cost you about $75 for output flange, drills and tap. Buying one of the other SYE gives you no additional strength and this is allot cheaper, and you dont have to tear your transfer case apart.

I ordered the high strength 32 spline kit from Jess at high angle. It should be here tuesday, hopefully with good instructions so it can go in easily, then I give him the measurements for my new high angle driveline

Hey scott, make sure you have a good snap ring remover. Other then that it is a piece of cake to do.
