I'm in the process of making my own
I have a 10 bolt front layin around so I'm taking the backing plate and will drill it to mount on the 14 bolt axle
then I'm press the studs through the 8 lug discs and into the 14 bolt hub
then I'll get eldorado calipers if they will attach to the 10 bolt backing plate, if not I'll go with the 10 bolt brakes (much cheaper, but the eldorados have ebrake)
mock it all up and figure out the spacer size from the backing plate to the 14 bolt tube
either cut tube to that size or drill solid stock and cut to that thickness
mount it all up
viola

I have not done this all yet, but from my research I see no reason why this wouldn't work and should be cheaper than the kit
but I've got more time than money, but still not much of either.

if that doesn't help then try some guy named"misfit" on the coloradok5 board he makes just the backing plat for like $65 bucks

Do a search on the Jeep section from about a week or so ago.
There was a guy selling some nice brackets and spacers for about $100. I was looking at them and thinking if I hadnt already fabbed my own, I would probbaly buy them, just to save a little time ion fabbrication.

Exactly how I felt when I called TSM. I asked if that was just for the bracket. After getting a "yes" response, I said "nevermind" and hung up the phone.

Where did you get your brackets?

I've got some brackets that can be welded on to the tube for $19.95. They are not made for that app but can be used. They will hold chevy large calipers.
