First off Camo, I apologize, I know this isn't the "Wanted" section, I posted this there as well, but I wanted to make sure everyone saw it..If you want me to delete it let me know and I'll zap it....with that said....
As you guys may remember, the VP of our club had his Jeep stolen a few weeks back ( I posted the details here) and it has not been located (big surprise).
Anyway, he wants to build up another Jeep and has started buying/collecting parts (he purchased front and rear dana 60's so axles are not an issue)
Now we are looking for either an old burned out, gutted CJ-7 or 8 or even just a good frame for one of those as a building platform.
Obviously a complete set up (e.g. Jeep with blown engine, bad trans, etc.) will work better but he is willing to purchase just the frame or partial frame tub set up if someone has one sitting in their back yard gathering moss.
We want to get him back on the road and trails asap so please keep your eyes and ears open for any of the above and email me if you know of something or find something so I can let him know, cheaper the better...kerryphillips@att.net
We are in Texas so it would be much easier if the parts were in TX or one of the bordering states, but hit us up with what you got, if you are close enough and the price is right we'll consider it (have trailer might travel)
Thanks,
kerryp
