i replaced my a/c condencer on a 95 3500 12v. when i bought it, i knew it had to b fixed...now the compressor wont cut on, not getting power to the excit wire on the relay, and the computer say there is a short, i think its code 37? anyway, the manual i bought from autozone doesnt have the wiring diagram for the a/c system, so im hopin someone has a copy, or any idea where to start tacklin this prob, as usuall, any and all help is appreciated.

Just a guess, but when the sysytem is at low pressure, the pressure switch won't allow power to be sent to the compressor clutch.

Hook up a set of gauges and hot wire the clutch.

common sense would think this would be the right answer, but who knows with the newer stuff.

i have hooked up gauges, the low side has presure, the high side doesnt. i tried to hot wire the clutch, and nothing happend. i also tried to hot wire the clutch on a functional dodge ram, and the clutch did not come on either. the functional ram has power to the excite wire when the system is turned on, mine doesnt.
this is why i think that it is going to be electrical...

Unless the accumulator (dryer) or expansion valve/orfice tube are plugged you should have the same reading hi and low side with the system off. If you hand turn the compressor backwards and the pressure equalises replace the expansion valve (or orfice tube depending on which system it has) and the accumuator/dryer assembly.
The low pressure switch is probaly on the "empty" side of the system, keeping the clutch off.

Maybe the high pressure switch is stuck (bad). Have you jumpered it? Don't do it for long!
