Now i have heard that it is a bad thing to put a body lift on a diesel. Something about it starving it for air. Does anyone if there is any truth to this? i have a small rubbing problem on the back side of my tires. They catch the plastic piece of crap up under the wheel wells. but only when i make a real sharp turn and the body compresses a good deal. Just enuff to really piss me off at times. And i was thinkin like maybe 2 or 3 inches of body lift will take care of it.

Are you seriously asking if a body lift is the right way to stop your tire from rubbing on a plastic trim piece?
Just cut the plastic piece.

short of yankin the whole damn thing out i have trimmed it. taken it all the way back to the fasteners. holy shit i am not that damn dumb:flipoff2:
ummm, how would a body lift starve an enguine for air?? as long as you get a new air box inlet tube so it's not kinked it doesn't change anything, other than looking stupid because you'll see that huge frame sticking out...
try smaller tires ;)

i think the problem, if your truck is a superduty, is the intercooler tubes. the intercooler is mounted to the body and has large formed tubes to the engine. i know its been done but dont know how.
