I know Dodge used an electrical soleniod to allow the driver to switch between the auxiliary tank and the main tank. I know that they came in Dodge trucks around the years of 1972 - 1974. I was told it came in a Dodge G200 but I've never heard of a "G200" by Dodge.

Can someone verify this? Are there other models and newer years that the soleniod can be found? Thanks!

Ok, so Dodge or Jeep doesn't make such a device, but for future reference, here's what I found. Its a electrical soleniod which allows me to switch between two fuel tanks with a push of a button. Its got two 3/8" dia. inlets, one 3/8" dia. outlet, body grounded and a single power connector. It's originally made for RV applications.

The soleniod is made by Pollak corporation which is a subsidiary of Stoneridge.

The soleniod is called "VISI / PAK 3 PORT VALVE"
Part number 42-103V
Made in the USA (Boston MA)

The company can be contacted at 1-617-282-9550 or its parent company at http://www.stoneridge.com/

I bought it at a local RV dealer, beside a Dodge dealership.
