I already have beadlocks for my Swampers, but was thinking of getting 17" rims to mount a set of those new 37/12.5-17" BFG AT KO's for street use.
Anyone make off the shelf 17's with 8 on 6.5"??? Or is it going to have to be custom?
Thanks,
Phil

try weld racing, I've seen 1-ton trucks with bigger wheels so the are out there. You do relize its gonna cost you like $2000 for a set of 4 tires and wheels??? you could buy a few sets of swampers and just burn those baby's up on the road

May be able to get a set of the AT's for free (any size).
So that makes it look better.

American Racing Atlas wheels, I've got 17x10's and they've got an excellent load rating. What's your budget for the wheels? I'm considering selling my set.

Dust ball: curious how those tires work in more noramal offroad conditions (as opposed to on a race track :P) they look bad ass and I'm guessing soft rubber? wanna let us in on where you get them?

I honestly haven't taken those tires on the trails, I have a set of 38's I swap on when going trail riding. The BFG's have strictly been daily-driver tires for me (keep in mind, they're radials). I can tell you this, the BFG's have incredible traction on dry pavement. I have a locker in the rear and during turns, they hop on the pavement rather than slide like my 38's do. I would think these would be perfect for the sand dunes and such. As for the soft rubber, yep for sure. On the set in the pic, I have about 15K miles on them and there is about 25% tread left on the front tires and about 50% on the rear tires.
I lucked out and bought 8 of those tires (four 12.5" wide and four 14.5" wide) at a local off-road fabrication shop closing auction. I am currently selling the other set of four tires since I've swapped in a 460 and the 35's are too small for me (high rpms on the highway).
