on most trucks there's a bottle that catches oil--like a breather tube--crawl under the truck on the driver's side and look up at the engine toward the front you should see it--maybe it's full---it's been known to have oil pour out of this bottle when going down steep hills--most guys relocate the stinking thing by extending the hose to the rear of the truck
is the oil filter tight---
blown head gasket---
how's the oil level???
cracked front cover or the breather tube is loose on the front cover-- from above look on the drivers side at the front of the engine--you will see a big aluminum cover and on the cover is a 2-3" round plastic pc with the rubber hose(breather tube/hose) coming out of the top--remove the hose and you can turn the round plastic thing by hand usually--is it loose or was the hose not on right----hope this helps---keep us posted----chris
good luck----hopefully it's minor----chr
